Bed Size Guide: From Single to Super King (with Dimensions)

The right bed size is a balance between the sleepers and the room. A bed that's too small cramps your sleep; one that's too large leaves no walking space. Here are the common UAE sizes to measure against.

Single (90 × 190 cm) suits children's rooms and compact guest rooms. Twin (120 × 200 cm) gives a solo sleeper extra width without needing much more floor. Queen (150 × 200 cm) is the popular choice for couples in a standard room. King (180 × 200 cm) adds generous shoulder room for two, and Super King (200 × 200 cm) is the most spacious for those who want to stretch out or share with kids.

To size your room, leave at least 60–75 cm of clearance on each side you walk past, and make sure doors and wardrobes still open freely. As a rule of thumb, a Queen fits comfortably from about 3 × 3 m, while a King or Super King is happiest from around 3.5 × 3.5 m.
